I'm beside myself with how utterly adorable these are.

I wish avocados weren't so dang expensive or I'd eat those fuckers for every meal, every day.

Morocco has been on my must visit list for some time now and finding out about the incredible Peacock Pavilions in Marrakech make me wanna go ever sooner. This is pretty much what and where my dream home would be.

Have I ever mentioned my immense love for "Seinfeld"? I used to watch it with my dad back in the day when I couldn't understand any of the jokes, and now that I'm older and actually get/relate to the humor, I watch it almost every night. My friend Anthony and I refer to it so much that we even have each other saved in our phones as "Jerry" and "Elaine". I definitely think I need one of these prints in my life.

Lately, the phrase "pop of color" has been all over the interior design blogosphere, and while I support and stand by the color movement 100%, all I can think is, why stop at just a pop? Neutral based rooms with little dashes of neon and brights here and there look great, but anyone that knows me or has seen my apartment (and you all will as well, as soon as I get the place tidied up) would know that I love color EVERYWHERE. One might even say my place verges on the border or overstimulation (*ehem*mom), but I love it. I think neutrals are a great way to tie a room together and make things look cohesive, but I adore splashes of hot pink and turquoise and orange and lime green all over the place, and that, ladies and gentlemen is what this post is devoted to today.

Coming May, my dear friend Clair will be graduating from Suffolk University (maybe I shouldn't say that in case there are stalkers out there, but I just want everyone to know what a smart and talented girl she is by name dropping the Boston university) and she's graciously enlisted me to help in the planning/inspiration of her graduation party. Since she's getting her degree in French, she wants the party to have a bit of a Parisian flair and we've decided the color pallet should consist of pinks and golds with a little dash of Tiffany blue thrown in for good measure. Here's a little peek of some things we've pinned thus far.

I've been needing to get my apartment more in order for a while now. While I love my little space and the decorating/arranging/organizing I've done with it so far, there's still a lot to be done (i.e. hanging up some art that's been sitting on the floor since July, cleaning out and organizing my two closets, getting all my art supplies into a more manageable/accessible place) and I see no better time to do it than now, at the start of the new year. Here's hoping these pics give me the inspiration to get off my butt tomorrow and get some things done.

This past year one of my dear friends Peggy challenged herself to watch and rate 211 new movies in the year 2011. (this year she's going even further and doing 365!) I loved this idea and have decided to try it myself for 2012. My Netflix is overflowing with classics, new releases, and all those movies everyone seems to have seen except me (I'm looking at you, "Fight Club"!). So far, I've seen "Rise of the Planet of the Apes" (4/5), "The Other Guys" (3.5/5), and "Midnight in Paris" (4/5). Stay tuned to see my updates on what else I'm watching :)
